Who We Are
Serve Sacramento was formed during the 2012 Luis Palau Sacramento Festival to promote and mobilize churches to show the love of Jesus through a Season of Service. Serve Sacramento continued as the strategic service organization of the ACTS Group, continuing the Season of Service from 2013-2016. In 2014, a shift of focus began to form around service in the context of church-school partnerships. In 2015, Serve Sacramento strategically transitioned into Serve United to better facilitate the Every School Partnership initiative and cause oriented service.
What We Do
Serve United is mobilizing people into action to bring measurable positive change in schools and in causes of community concern. Activating unified efforts of believers to address pressing issues and entrenched problems with courage, perseverance and love can bring about the good city all desire.

Roots - Why We Serve
God’s people in a community or city are known for the good they do. Jesus reputation is to be great because of the service of the people who take his name upon themselves. Activating united efforts of believers to be the faithful presence of Jesus to communities by addressing pressing issues and entrenched problems with courage, perseverance and love can bring about the good city all desire. The original mandate from God for men and women to “be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it” (Genesis 1:27-28) shows his sovereign design of Marriage, Family and Employment for humanity. These three causes well addressed and supported create the environment for Wellness, Sexual Integrity, Education, Housing, and good Neighbors. The Local School is the best context for believers and churches to address these causes and begin to seek the peace and prosperity of the communities and cities we call home.
