The Day of Hope at Luther Burbank High School was an amazing day! Over 300 volunteers came out to serve, most of whom were students from Luther Burbank High School. The Day of Hope volunteers served the community with free haircuts, family portraits, food, face painting, groceries, and entertainment. There was also a great children’s area complete with multiple bounce houses and interactive games for kids of all ages. Families left the Day of Hope with bags of groceries and smiles on their faces.

It’s amazing to see how God works in our lives to touch those around us.  Through love, we serve our neighbor and this testimony is one of the reasons why we do what we do.

“We made Gospel Bracelets with 60+ people and had 3 little girls who prayed to receive Jesus for the first time. Pray for Crystal, Aira, and Sharlia.  Also, pray for a Muslim woman who came and made a bracelet as she listened to the Gospel presentation.  She looked very thoughtful and she took the bracelet with her.  I didn’t get her name, but God knows who she is.  Pray that God works in her life and heart and that she comes know Jesus as her Savior and Lord.”

Thank you Luther Burbank High School students, E49 CorporationRestoration Life Church, and all other volunteers who were involved!
