From April 4th to April 6th, about 500 volunteers from eight Davis area churches joined forces to serve the Yolo County area in the third annual iCare Davis service event. Teams spread out over the Davis, Dixon, and Woodland area to clean and renovate schools, homeless shelters, libraries, parks, migrant camps and other community organizations. Over 20 projects were completed, each project sending a message to the community of the love and care of Jesus.

One iCare participant, Jann Murray-Garcia, could not have said it better: “We just want to ‘show up’ in the community we are part of, as Jesus Christ did, in practical, tangible ways.”

Thank you Davis area churches for all you are doing in the name of Christ!
