About 500 volunteers from 8 churches in Davis spread out all over Yolo County to serve in almost 30 projects in the region’s 4th annual iCare Davis event. Projects included gardening and landscaping at local schools and parks, light construction at area non-profits, helping elderly individuals with house projects at a mobile home part, throwing a BBQ for the homeless and for at-risk youth, hosting a free car wash for the city, crafting blankets for foster kids, and many more!

Davis has been blessed not only by four consecutive years of care from church individuals, but also the ongoing service and care by these local churches. The beneficiaries of the service projects look forward to iCare Davis every year to help get needs met. By their actions, the churches in Davis communicate to the city that they are a part of the city and they care. Thank you Davis churches for your continual effort to work for the good of your city!
